I'm a big fan of Del the Funky Homosapien. DELTRON 3030 is probably the best high-concept cyberpunk rap-opera album out there. Yeah, the song is in no way realistic, but this is a guy who in the song Protoculture on the album Both Sides of the Brain drops shoutouts to the Dreamcast and Neo-Geo, while dissing former Sega of America president Bernie Stolar for mismanaging the Saturn market. He's also done some mainstream work with the Gorillaz

I'm shocked he's not more popular among the nerdcore crowd.
