That is the quote I was talking [directly] about. I notice making fun of people and the view count per post on this board is outrageous haha. However, Ill keep posting to learn and learn for my own, personal use.

No. I'm irate because people use my board for the wrong reasons. Posts here are to talk about potential punishments for one's actions, NOT to get advice on how to best commit these crimes. Read the description of the board from the forum index, or EITHER OF THE TWO FUCKING STICKIES I made.

I could have killed this thread myself as soon as he made the post, but I wasn't sure if Matt would want me moderating his board.  Godot's suggestion makes this thread all worth it though, so I'm glad I didn't.

Damn straight. The only kind of moderation I appreciate is the kind that I exercise myself: locking and moving topics for one-time offenders, blatantly and offensively editing posts for repeat offenders.


Arbie, if you don't mind, though, I'd like to change the description of this forum, as I think the narrow scope I've previously held the forum to doesn't really match the capabilities I have in moderating it:

"Are you having second thoughts about a great idea? Let other forum members determine if the benefits of your crazy ideas outweigh the possible legal risks! THIS IS NOT A FORUM TO DISCUSS HOW TO COMMIT CRIMES!"

I think that direction could be a heck of a lot more fun, and it would encourage a lot more constructive user participation.

What exactly is wrong with discussing how to commit crimes? Most of this website discusses how to commit crimes.
