1-800-4-CACTUS

Earlier today it was raining and of course I was out in the middle of it with my friend. So we took shelter in the payphone and started calling random 800 numbers and eventually called 800-4-CACTUS. This seems to go to some lady in Wisconsin (I think) who has no idea that she has an 800 number. WTF? Does anyone know about this? She just picks up then hangs up when ever I call her back now from any of the payphones that I came across, presumably from anything in the 503 area code. Also, I found out that it can be very amusing to call 1-800-DOUBLETREE and ask them questions unrelated to reservations. They're in a call center the Philippines in case you were wondering.

I just called this lady and she does know that she has an 800 number, she said shes had it since 89 and uses it for her daughter to call. She mentioned that she used to sell cactus, i tried to tell her she should get back into the business.

I called and said "Cactus." She hung up. I called again and said "Cactus cactus cactus" and she started saying "Cactus" back. This went on for a while with both of us 'cactusing' each other, and then she started singing some song, but she replaced every few words with "Cactus". She concluded with, "Heh heh... thank you... good night".

Best. Call. Ever. I suck for not recording it.

well her number stoped working, but n00dle discovered that 800-9-CACTUS is fun to call too!
