VOIP
« on: March 26, 2009, 09:11:06 AM »
What service are you guys recommend as far as VOIP.  I see Skype is running like 3 dollars a month for unlimited calls.  Any service you any of you would recommend over Skype?

Thx,

I used Vonage for years and was really happy with it.  It's a little pricier than Skype, but doesn't have as much lag and doesn't tie you to the computer to use it.

I use the free version of iCall because I'm a cheap fuck!

iCall looks nice.  How's the quality?  I'm hoping to get away from Skype now that their new desktop application sucks so bad.

I use skype for it's free video conferencing and things like that, it's the only thing I've tried so I can't compare it to anything but I can say it's been far from perfect, the fact that I use clearwire and have near dialup speeds doesn't help much either.
