OOGLE prank call
« on: July 09, 2009, 06:07:21 PM »
Has anyone posted this before? I searched but couldn't find it, so...
I found this site called oogle.com (Due to the economy, the G has been laid off) and it allows you to spoof your number to one of their predefiend ones (if you register you can use any number, but that costs monies). The predefined ones aren't terrible, they have 666, 911, and (222) 222-2222 to (999) 999-9999 and the option to leave it unavailable. They also will record it for you and email it to you, and there is the option of a voice changer. The call time is limited to two minutes, and they play a 10 second ad (to you) before you are connected. The URL is http://call.oogle.com/

Something about this seems like more trouble than it's worth.

might be fun to try bridging two people together who know each other, with the voice changer preventing one of them from recognizing the other

That would be great if you could find some way to listen in.

yea, but it makes YOU call a number, it doesn't call you. I suppose you could three way them in or something, but the ad at the beginning kinda ruins it... then of course you could simply three way them in after the ad. Good idea, I'm gonna go do that. As for listening in, it will email you a copy of the call.
