On stealing from AT&T Trucks

How easy is it to do? there's two AT&T trucks a few houses down that are unattended. Do Linesmen normally lock their trucks while working, and has anyone stolen a Toughbook laptop from inside the trucks? Also, how easy is it to glean info from Linesmen?

If the truck is locked, just use a gun to shoot at the locks.  They don't stand a chance!
