@Bison: well, seeing as not knowing the difference between electrical equipment and phone equipment could bring my life to a shocking end, i already know that.


@Yauch: Thanks for the video! i have a better idea of what i'm supposed to do now if i'm faced with Beiging a apartment/etc.

Edit: i found some old DSL filters that seem to be perfect for making the adaptors. would these work? they are using powered phone cable and are designed to have a phone cable plugged into, so i'd say yes, but i'd like verification.

When I made this post I was unaware that 8 years ago was 2001. I looked up the textfile I used and it IS older then me.
