Naw, it's more or less Ubuntu with a shitty green theme.

Tried it in either v. 3 or v. 4, and I couldn't get it to install on my notebook, though Ubuntu installed fine. Not sure if it was a driver issue, damaged disk, or problem with the installer, but I felt like I wasted a few hours of my life and haven't tried it since.

The GUI is Gnome, but the center is creamy nectary caramel.

Insofar as anything else though, whatever the current build of Mint is is what is on my system. It seems stable enough and I do enjoy the green theme. Because I'm too lazy nor do I care enough to change it. Plus green is nice.

The center is my computer is creamy too, but it's not caramel. The gui may be gnome but to me it just looks like an ugly green Windows theme, not that I really care since I don't use it. Use whatever you find is best for you.

I quote this for the complete and total truth. Inside of your system cream is also a little salty. Maybe I should stop licking it?
Regardless. Mint works well and plays nice. But then again so does most every other version of Linux out there. Just avoid Fedora. Mother fucker avoid Fedora. And Red Hat. They beat me so fucking much and I hate them with every inch of my body including my penis.

But what you should REALLY try out is that super sexy Weak Net Linux that trevelyn has taken the time to create himself.

Everyone go and give trevelyn +1 1337 points right now.
