Multi-touch Sensoring

I think a lot of you will enjoy this if you haven't seen it already.  It's pretty awesome technology.  Although, some of it has been around for a while; its been enhanced quite significantly.

this is really fucking awesome. i can't wait until they start utilizing it in practical applications.

I loved the "oooohhhhhhh"ing of the crowd as he showed off the different applications.  Really cool stuff!

What great implications this will have in real life, like... a great karate video game.

But seriously fusing that with Google Earth would mean your fingers literally do the walking.  Below is an older article talking about this + using Multi-Touch with video streams.  You'll be able to watch 30 channels at the same time, just like BTF II.

Don't they already have this ability?  I saw a commercial for directv or something offering a sports package that lets you watch like 10 games at once.
