I'm new here, and just wanted to introduce myself. It isn't going to be anything really spectacular, but I've been playing with phones and radios my entire life. After reading the forums last night, I wanted to tell some of you how awesome you are!
Nothing I've done is really inventive, just fun for passing the time with. I wanted to ask what the different boxes are, how they work, and how to go about getting one. Beige boxing sounds neat, as does Red boxing.
Here's what I used to do: 900 lines. I'd also call the supposedly free 800 lines. I had a way around getting charged that was just amazing because it was simple, but that was way back when these lines were open to all sorts of tricks.
Can anyone here recommend anything cool to do? How to do it without getting caught these days with all the digital technology? What are the newest trends in phreaking and so forth?
