Ever made a collect prank call?

I've tried calling other Frank Garrett's collect, none accepted but if they did they would probably be extra pissed.

I've always noticed that people often accept collect calls from their own names.  They probably just think it's a family member with a similar name or something or maybe they misunderstand the operator's question.  They get pissed when they find out it's a prank.

It can be some fun when calling random numbers acting like an operator. I've made many calls where I claim to be an op with a collect call, then going into my prank about whatever. It's also fun to tell them that the call will cost some crazy amount of money even if they choose not to accept it; you knowsort of like a charge for placing the collect call and another charge for accepting it.

On the Phone Show aftershow this week I called Lindsay Lohan's brother with a fake collect call.  I pretended to be an automated system, but kept stumbling and repeating myself.  I said the call was from Lindsay and he was super pissed when he found out that I wasn't really her.  I think Matt told him that the call was $35/minute.
