A while back, I posted about an instance where an operator transferred me free of charge.
Well, I'm back to say that I went out redboxing again--and it happened four times in a row. I got fed up and just quit. Next time I will have to ask them, HEY WAIT CAN I PUT IN MONEYS?
Something I noticed though: I was making these calls from a millenium. I attempted the other day to get a recording of a dollar coin on my answering machine, but it wouldn't register. I tried several coins, and none of them worked, it just fell right through the slot. The nearest centurion was out-of-order, but they don't take dollars anyway.
So I have to ask: were the milleniums designed purposely so that you couldn't make recordings of the coins? And if so, wouldn't it be impossible to dial through an operator and pay (coins stopped "beeping" after the call was terminated).
