there's lots of good music.. you just have to look for it
as for there being no good pop music, i'd agree there... pop music is a lost cause at this point
there are so many people making music now- its both a good and a bad thing, but its also opened up a lot more options in what is available and different, interesting music.. just gotta find the people that know what they're doing and those people usually aren't the ones who are marketed everywhere
