Removing your info from background check websites

Seems like good info. At the very least it is a nice concise list of such websites, maybe it should be duped on the P.I. part of the site.

I'll be told to google, sure. But a lot of these background websites are starting to show up and pop up. My question though, because it seems to be the same principal to me, are you allowed to get a free peek at your information the same way you're supposedly allowed one free yearly Credit Report? Because if my background is clean and good, then I don't want to opt out. But if there are bullet holes in my past, I want to know who to harass unto the wee hours of the midnight sun with mindless phone harassment.

so you provide these people with a copy of your state issued ID to "remove" you from the site that you are requesting information removed from, so that they can add even more information about you into their database that they use for the other sites that the same company operates?
