Phone numbers that cost lots of monney

Suppose you want to get even with a mark or a business. What kind of numbers can you dial from the targeted phone to rack up a large phone bill for your enemy.

The only ones I can think of is the 1-900 numbers such as the time and temperature or the lottery result hotline.

Anyone have other numbers?

i guess the most expensive would be inmarsat numbers, i don't have any of those though.

It's not as easy as it used to be since phone calls are so cheap now.  900 numbers are hard to find these days and even those are cheaper now.  If you're going to call something and leave it off the hook for hours, you might have the best luck with something international.  UK mobile numbers can get pricey.  There must be more expensive countries though.  Ahhh, here we go:

I heard some of the scientific bases in Antartica put their numbers online.I imagine it is quite expensive.

I tried it once.  The 900 number people would wait two months to pay me and they quickly noticed that they were getting chargebacks from everyone who called their number.  900 numbers are dead now.  It's all about the 5 digit text numbers.  Anyone know where to sign up for one of those?

Apparently it's just the one company that controls all the CSCs for the US. And I guess they're kinda 'spensive.

I think they waive the thousand dollar a month fee if you give them your first born son though.

That's about what 900 number rates were back in the 90's.  There are some other companies that you can sign up with to accept payments via cell phone and it's probably cheaper, like Paymo and Zong.

Maybe you could get a CSC if you used the money from the PLAtinum Membership Fees.

Unless murd0c blew it all on hookers and blow again.

If you can the number for a sat phone from a company like Iridium, those are quite expensive to call. Like 10 dollars a minute if you call from a cell phone, maybe higher from a landline phone.
