Recording phone calls.
« on: January 14, 2007, 05:09:23 PM »
I want to record the calls I do with voip but I do not know how to do it. I use voipbuster for my calls. I tried figuring out myself but I did not have any luck.

With audacity when I try and record things I get these options as to where I want to record from:

wave out mix
mono out
phone
line in
microphone
cd player

I have a soundmax digital audio soundcard and for my calls I use a logitech headset. The microphone is plugged in to my orange jack and the place the sound comes in is plugged into the green jack. Hopefully you can help me. Right now I can only record what is coming from my microphone.

I plugged my preamp/record player into blue. It's just like plugging a mp3 player into speakers, except that I can rip records from it.

yeah thats justa basic input line, i followed the directions with the cool pictures in the above post by legend, but now everyone is complaining about echo.. and it's making my life hell trying to SE something out of someone and them complaining about echo.. I messed with all the levels in the volume control but, nothing seems to work. - any ideas about that?
