Wipe out your computer and do a clean XP install. I bet that fixes it.
Yeah I figured that much. Only thing is I don't have a copy of Windows (probably do but have to find it, or get a copy at school from my 3D animation teacher)... and its a bitch reinstalling the stuff that I actually use.
Unless I just transfer all of my useful stuff and music/videos to my sister's laptop via thumb-drive, one gig at a time. Would probably take forever though

I tried System Restore as soon as I noticed it happening, but that didn't do a thing.
