OMG!! txt msgs
« on: February 08, 2007, 09:52:01 AM »
I have found that you can write HTML right into a text sent from a cell phone. I have sent it to e-mail addresses, but not to other phones yet. I am still working with it. Can you imagine stealing cookies using your cell phone? In my opinion, that is really hot! Has anyone else tried this?

I have only tried HTML, but I am working on finding the language that the non-HTML reading phones can read. It seems trhat the universal 160 charecters is the length of a text msg, so i am working on evtending that if possible, this would be done to accomidat Java. As of now, when I send the HTML to my phone, it only shows as what I wrote verbatem.

DUUUUUUUDE, your e-mail is translating the text as html, the phone doesn't do HTML, but it would be interesting if you did find a language that worked. personally i think it'll go nowhere.
