The comedy website "zug.com" has been pranking for over 10 years (hey, kind of like the PLA...) A guy by the name of "John Hargrave" runs the site, and pulls hundreds of pranks around the country. He recently released a book of pranks (some original, some "best-of") I have to give him credit for the Super Bowl Stunt
where he sneaks 2,000 LED necklaces into the super bowl, hands them out to selected seats, and during halftime to display a "secret message"

I just read all of the Superbowl prank stuff and watched all the YouTube videos.  And I'm annoyed that I still don't know what the secret message is.

I think my favorite was the electronic road sign prank.  But there's lots of great stuff on that site.

I saw that in the one video, but then in the others, it looks like a word is being spelled and they don't resemble the Moonite at all.
