FOR THE RECORD: I have mirrored the old Cal's Forums, although only with wget - I don't have the database or any other original stuff. It's around 2GB.

If this ever is needed, let me know.

I've always thought Cal ran the site on his own server because he used to sell hosting.

Correct.  Cal's isn't going anywhere as far as I am concerned.  It has infinite life hosting sirs and ma'ams.

Glad to see that everyone misses Cal's.  Even more glad to see someone ask how my wife is doing.  She is doing well.

He moved to Italy to go to college, last time I talked to him (about 7 months ago) he said he was still there and loving it. He said having sex with all these foriegn chicks gets in the way of his Halo playing and computer haxxin. So there you have it, another phone phreak goes the way of linear.
