Maybe it should be based on post count + Karma... like if you reach 100 posts but have negative ninety-two Karma, it could say, "Senior Phone Loser, But everyone still hates you."

I thought about the Karma thing too, but I didn't bring it up because I would have the lowest thing possible.  Funny how after you have to wait more than 12 hours to lower someones Karma mine stopped going down.

If you want to have a higher raiting, at least a couple other ppl should have to decide if your 1337 enough!

I think it ends there.  I'm tempted to do away with the ranks based on posts because it just encourages people to make retarded posts.  I kind of like the idea of a higher level of forums where you have to be voted in.

That's pretty much it.  I like it cause when someone says, "Well I'm cool because I have the most posts!" you can point out that they don't appear to be very well liked by the general population.  I guess there's a flaw, though, since 1 person could probably destroy your Karma level by giving you 1 negative per hour.

What's everyone think of the new +/- display?  Should I put it back how it was?

i totally agree RBCP, 100 million posts dosent mean you are cool, its all about the quality of them, now on one forum, i stand at 250 posts but unlike most my karma has no minuses, thats what counts
