Our dear and glorious leader, Google has launched a new service. They connect your call for free and charge nothing for anything ever. I don't think you have to listen to ads either.

You can link any phone number to a fake business by going to the link in the story. Your home phone is a good one, you can also link the phone numbers of various people you wish to torture, and several 'emergency contacts' of yours, such as friends or family you can call for a ride, or whatever else you can think of.

Most payphones in my town dont take incoming calls, and this isnt exactly breaking but a leetpoint none the less.

I do this to fast food joints when i eat out for a little lunch entertainment. :/

Could you explain this a little more because i've used the google call thing from the maps and it just basicaly confrence calls two numbers, how exactly does this help with payphone calls, unless the title was part of a joke i'm not getting.

All you do is call 1-800-goog-411 It'll explain the rest!
It connects your call through the 800-number. It doesn't have to call you back

Has anyone set up one for the PLA voice bridge yet? I'd be happy y to do it, if no one else has. Also, does it actually matter what you put in for the information?

I just set up a listing for the bridge.  But then at the end, it told me they needed to verify my address by mail before the listing will be active.  Since I wrote 411 Cactus Ave, this is a problem.  Tomorrow I'll put in a change of address card for that address so I can get the thingie from Google.  I'm not sure if the post office will have a problem with the address not existing, though.  Guess we'll see...
