I still can't get connected to the bridge using 800GOOG411, but I've found a way around it. Just go to http://maps.google.com/maps?q=phone%20losers%20of%20america (thanks gangals for setting this up) and hit "call," which is located right by where the phone number is listed. Then, just enter in your phone number and you will recieve a call that will connect you to the bridge when you answer it. After that, just plug in 752 and you're connected to the voice bridge for free.

Whenever there's a free and easy way to call the bridge, things get crazy there.  People who normally can't call in will flood the bridge with music or touch tones, making conversation impossible.

Not that I don't think the Google thing is very cool.  Thanks, Gangals!

That's how I got into the bridge before I switched to VoIP for my primary telephone service.

It is possible to use goog411 for the call, but you have to say something close to losers because it doesn't understand losers very well.  To avoid all hell breaking loose on the bridge every night all night from now on, I'm not going to post what you have to say for it to understand you. ;)

EDIT: BTW (800) GOOG411 works on pay phones, for now at least...

Yup, think I figured out how to do it from 800-Goog-411 ... but in the interest of the continued (somewhat peaceful) existence of the bridge, I'm declining to disclose that info.

BTW...how did one add the PLA as a business entry in Google?

I can't get the system to connect me when I say Phone Losers of America, but if you say Cincinnati, Ohio, then Computer Security, then pick the 8th selection.
