Found it a few years ago, while Cal's was still up, was looking for random people to live vicariously through their lives as I wasted own.

I discovered it about 4-5 years ago on google.  That sparked my interest in telecommunications.

I stumbled across the PLA after seeing a link to "Cactus" on Encyclopedia Dramatica. This was about 4 days ago.

Early 97 I was harassing people on dal.net IRC and tried to fuck with #rock.  They loved me immediately for some reason.  I guess I made Tannest feel like less of a chanwhore.  I was in there for weeks, harassing #mormon, #homeschool and #wwf with my future husband, before I even knew what PLA was all about. 

I remember the first time I talked to rbcp because everyone was all "OMG RBCP IS HERE" and I was like "who the fuck rbcp?" and I was mean to him.  He told me to be nice to him because he was "fragile." 

That's the TRUE story.  The FAKE story is that jammie raped me and I was automatically inducted into PLA.

I found the PLA a couple years ago from someone linking me the McDonald's Sign prank in aim. Shortly after enjoying the genius of the act i checked out a bunch of the prank calls and started linking my friends some of the best ones (sure they were all great but my friends had limited amounts of time to intake such greatness) I eventually came back around when I was looking for podcasts to fill my Zune with and I signed up on the forums. I still don't post much though.

I was looking for instructions for my dad's scanner and I found the page with RBCP's fake story about how the operator hung herself with her headset. I don't remember the year, but I remember that back then the text was green and black.
