I used to have quite a collection of cell phones, by claiming them from lost and founds.  I guess technically I still collect those, just not as aggressively as before.  I've sold a lot of them and thrown away a lot of the crappy ones.

My biggest collections these days are digital - movies, music and pictures.

Books in case there's a flood and I need to live in my house which is now an island, Sega and SNES games because of the previous scenario and because I can stare at a lot of old games and not get a head ache trying to figure out the plot and movie posters. Though that just started recently.

I collect:

Old games - There are 3 pawn shops in town, and I try to hit them up every couple weeks. I've found a lot of NES and SNES games that I got rid of when I was younger, which is rad, but I'm also amassing a lot of crappy games.

Music - Not strictly CDs. I have at least 50 or 60 lbs of musical scores, viola music, other sheet music, method books, and other related things. I do have a bunch of random CDs, too. I should probably get rid of some, but meh.

Hard Drives - I now have close to a baker's dozen of 10-15 GB hard drives. Most of them were from either XBoxes that I modded for people, but I also accumulated some from old computers and "bad box" computers.

..besides the names, addresses and phone numbers of all my neighbors in a 2 block radius..  instant messenger names of forums users and locals for mass messaging im harassment (thank you trillian).  no life?  you be the judge!
