What to do with half a million bouncy balls.

Down the steps, into the fountain.

Stairway to anarchy

That's an expensive prank.  Those balls are expensive!

I wanted to do this with a friend the other day but when I went to Toys R Us the guy there didn't even recognize the WORD 'superball'. Am I the only one who remembers the little ones you couldn't go to the dentist, dollar store, birthday party without walking away with a hundred or so of? I had to search on my own and all I could find were expensive ones at least four times the size of the ones I remember.

i don't remember seeing them sold in large packs, though.

I'm sure I could get them on ebay or something but it was a shock to be unable to find some at Toys R Us of all places. I don't think they had real metal slinkeys or etch-a-sketches either.

You could buy big packs of them from catalogs like Oriental Trading Company. I did that a couple times as a kid. I must've had a thousand of those things.

Read these two blog entries to learn a little about the costs and logistics of giant balls.

I read 'giant balls' and wondered if somebody'd found my photobucket account.

When I was a kid, my aunt used to take us to "the teacher's store," a store which sold little, cheap, flimsy toys like those you'd get in a party bag in bulk for cheap.

My mom bought my son one of those small ball pits  ::) When he outgrew it, we used to have ball wars and whip them at each other (You'd have to because they were so lightweight. Also, the plastic was thin so it would never hurt.) or gave them to teh cat to play with.
