I was looking around for celeb aim screen names and found one who says they were 'Miley Cyrus' so I decided to "borrow" it and see what it was all about. The results were amazing. Right away I was flooded with IMs from Miley fans. It was crazy how many people were convinced that this screen name was in fact Miley Cyrus. Here are a few screen shots to show you what I am talking about. 1 2

And then I decided to change the profile to invite them to a chat and people came instantly. Here is a screen shot of that.



This time I was bored with the outstanding number of IMs that I get when signing on "miley cyrus's" sn so I decided to do that chat thing again and way more people came this time. Then I decided to see exactly how stupid the people were so I put a link in my profile to my friend Andrew's sn and people IMed him and he told them he was her bodyguard. Next I wanted in on the action so I signed on the SN Neil Armstrong and set the away message for "Miley Cyrus's" screen name to have a link to IM me in it. And instantly I was bombarded with IMs so I decided to fuck with them a little bit. Here are couple of convos that I saved...

For an encore, when there's enough people in the chat room, have someone sign on with a similar IM name. Then you and the other person have a "fight" claiming you/they are the real person. Make sure there's a big ass flame war.

I thought that it was funny to see the guys that come in the chat room to say that you weren't miley.  I guess this is a great example of how "fun" im chat is.
