Lock Picking

This actually works.  Paperclips can be used to pick locks, espically thoes on handcuffs.  Heres how to do it:

1. Slide the handcuffs under your legs to get them in front
2. Bend one tip out of the paper clip
3. With the big fat side put it in the keyhole flat
4. Push until you feel something move
5. Push with your locked hand against the cuff to open it
6. Repeat 3-5 with the other hand.

It works, I just tried it!

my friend bought a lock picking set on ebay. It came with a good manual, and after a couple od days, he was able to break into my house, and 3 of my masterlocks!

Sounds like you've had an exciting weekend so far, z09.  Hopefully the cops didn't get your info before you pulled that off.

A friend of mine is really into lock picking.  He had about 3 different sets and a lock picking gun.  He could open anything in my house.  It was annoying as hell.

I just hate BEST and Schlage locks because they have both master and submaster pin sets.

Is it possible to gain entrance to a house with a paperclip? I've read it is and I have not bad lockpicking skills but so far I haven't had any luck with it.

Add improper double negatives to the list...

A house lock is just that, a lock, yes you can pick a lock with just about anything.

Go out and read about how a locks work, the different types and brands of locks and what makes them special, then the different tools and techniques used in lockpicking.

I've ruined locks trying to pick them with ghettomade tools when the metal breaks off in the keyhole.

Sure you can!
And this werks, too!
You put a paperclip(preferrably a couple of them) between the target's door and the doorpost, and wait for him to leave the house.
Now, for the next part...
When he closes the door, he won't notice theclip, and "lock" the door as usual...Just that the door won't close completely, and he won't actually lock it!
Now, seeing as the lock jammed against the doorpost, he will examine the door, and notice the paperclip!
When he bends to take it, you run behind him,and into the door(Which he opened so he could retrieve the clip, duh...>_>), without him noticing.
WHAM!

Schlage locks with submaster sets SUCK ASS.  I had to go and get a copy of the key for my apartment made, and I couldn't get anyone in SF that had the blanks to do it!  I eventually had to pay $75 to the arsehole manager to get an extra.  Ugh.

That's what I have. I took a Schlage key and grinded it down to the side pin part, so it hits that pin and acts as a torque wrench.
