Haha, she hasn't said anything clear about what she represents other than running a dishonest campaign, being a batshit insane christian wacko, and OH HEY I'M A WOMAN VOTE FOR ME. she can't speak of policy because i'm pretty sure she hasn't got any specific policies. she's uninformed about basic political process.
it's clear this was a political gamble for McCain and he wasn't looking out for the best interests of the country. It was a terrible choice, and even though you state the party is unified, many of them disagree and are making it known.
also, complaining about taxes is always the last refuge of the conservatives. well, that and lying about the tax rate. prior to Carter, the top marginal income tax rate was 75% because of Nixon and Ford. Carter actually brought it down 5 points. Not saying Carter was a great president, just pointing out some facts.
