Professional Signs
« on: September 29, 2008, 12:28:19 AM »
Every so often when the mood strikes me (IE I have money) I head down to the local hardware store and pick up a handful of professional metal sticky signs. I like push/pull (for the opposite door orientation of course), 'employees only' (for any door I can find) and 'please use other door' (I stuck this one onto the inside side of a bathroom door at a Subway with no other door and it stayed up for over a month) the best, but I'm sure any hardware store selection will keep you busy for a while. They're awesome because I see them up legitimately everywhere so when people see them they assume they must be there for a reason.

You could probably get away with just printing copies of those metal signs on paper sometimes, just to save some money.

It would be fun to swap the MEN and WOMEN restroom signs.  But I'd probably be cheaper just to yank those off the wall and switch them.

PROTIP: If you don't see a problem with stealing they're very easy things to get away with. At Home Depot you can use the self scanner and scan them two or three at a time if there's somebody watching or more than that if not.

I actually did this at a college.  Needless to say, they are not accepting my application. :nonsense: :nonsense:
