I was RaVeNMaDDoX long before I knew who Maddox even was... somewhere in the late 90's a friend of mine Joe gave me the name Raven... it stuck and I liked it because of the Norse mythology references... around 2000 I was working for a local ISP and it became my first online use of raven@sleekcom.com... when i left there I chose hotmail as my new resting place but I could no longer be simply raven... in IRC I had tried {{Raven}} and some variations but some people thought I was a bot because of the symbols... somehow ravenmaddox came out of that... it just seemed to flow together and it was a bit of a play on Stark Raven Mad(dox). It was the first handle that stuck and is unique enough that a google search of my one word name brings only me in the results.

Besides, how is my name anymore retarded than most of the others you see???

No, when I designed my website I admittedly stole some ideas from maddox site - this was the first website I developed. Where's your first? But I have also made plenty of changes since that are definitely non-maddox.
