New Walmart Opening in my area
« on: November 10, 2008, 12:29:03 PM »
Our first Walmart for the area is opening soon. I would like to welcome them to the area, maybe by a wide array of food delivered to the store.
Anyway, below the big "Walmart" sign there is a giant blank illuminated white sign/space, I was thinking about writing "The End is Near" or something like that there.
Any ideas for either the white space or a 'welcome to town' present.
Thank you sir may i have another...

You should take a picture so we know what the heck we have to work with.

See the Sign Hacker thread and the Sign Hacker website for some ideas.

Store openings are always overstaffed, and they always put a load of 'em out the door once the dust settles. Get a job there for a few days during the chaos, learn the layout, and set a few things up you can take advantage of later.

Picture is coming, my digital camera is being a bitch.

That's a great idea. My only concern would be that past employees would be the first people that they would suspect. But you are right, what better way to get inside information.
