Working in a sales-based call centre, I know for a fact that most veteran employees attempt to avoid Black Friday. this can be both a blessing and a curse. Most new employees don't understand how much sensitive information they can give away, but new employees may be more likely to divulge nothing, as they are fresh out of extensive training that can teach them "give out no information that the caller doesn't first divulge". at my current job, I've already heard employees refuse sales to customers who can't remember the address they lived at 5 years ago when they last ordered. If it is at all possible, it seems like my co-workers exhibit security through stupidity, which I can imagine has severely impacted sales.
