So so so....story time.
About 2 months ago I attempted to buy a old school bell phone off ebay and did not get it when I won it. (45 bucks and shipping i think.) Instead, a got a RRoD Xbox. Youre thinking wtf man! Yes, I know I know I should have reported it to ebay blah blah.....
So, I go with risk # 2 : My close buddy says well why don't you send it back to Mycocksoft and get it repaired....I was 50/50 because I did not know if it was stolen, etc. So I sent it. A package with a pre-paid box came and 2 days later I sent it from one of the UPS stores. Now, I was thinking this craps going to take a month at least. ....well nope. I think about 7, 8 days later BAM! Came back to my house and even got 48 hours free of x-box live. My signature was on the original paperwork and all.
So yeah, I could have sold the damn thing but instead have it stored upstairs and use it once in a while. It is an earlier model so I think it could be softmodded, messed around with - just haven't go around to tinkering around with it.
So in this world you could screw over the people who screw you first. Now, I also noticed - Ebay is taking down phones more and more. I just got the better end of the stick - thats all.
