I got my Eye-Fi card.  It's great.  I snap a picture on my camera, then a few seconds later it's magically on my laptop in the folder I choose.  Technology rulez!  I can also set it up to upload to Facebook, Flickr and other photo sharing sites.  And if you're the type of person who wants prints, which I'm not, they can automatically upload to Wal-mart or Costco to be picked up in person.  NEAT, GODDAMMIT!

It's an SD card with wifi built in.  It connects to my home network and uploads to the laptop or whatever computer I install the Eye-Fi software on.  I was hoping it would let me view the SD card on my camera as a networked drive, but it wouldn't.  If it would, I was going to buy another one of these things and put it in my car stereo for remote song adding/deleting.

As far as I can tell, it won't transmit to just any wifi.  You have to specify which wireless connection it uses, using your computer.  It'd be nice if it would just transmit as soon as it found any open wireless connection.  But I guess that wouldn't be very secure.  Transmitting via bluetooth on my cell phone would be cool too.  But I'm not complaining though. It's not like I need my images sent to my Flickr the minute after they're taken anyway.
