AUSTIN (KXAN) - Austin drivers making their morning commute were in for a surprise when two road signs on a busy stretch of road were taken over by hackers. The signs near the intersection of Lamar and Martin Luther King boulevards usually warn drivers about upcoming construction, but Monday morning they warned of  "zombies ahead."

This news story was everywhere, even on Channel 7!

We should totally sue the people and/or claim it was ours. Shit, this looks like the same work we have been doing on the website. Lots of hard work and a some unrelated punks gets the fame. I WANT APPLE JUICE!  >:(

Spessa's annoyed that her hacked road signs from a few months ago didn't get national attention when the only difference is that she warned of vampires instead of zombies.  I bet people have been screwing with road signs ever since they were invented.  Especially if they don't even lock the things, what do they expect?

My friend called me this morning freaking out and asking if I had done it.  I dont even live near texas... How could I have done it?  Brad, you should hack a couple of signs to say WE DID IT FIRST and post them on signhacker.

Funny Fact: I have posted at SlashDot, but I have never even been to Fark. Like, I have not even clicked a link that lead to the website. I only know its logo from Wikipedia, I have no idea what the website actually looks like.  :o
