Nice cat!  He's old.  Why'd you get an old cat?  They don't chase laser dots around with nearly the comical value of kittens.

He's only 7.

You know the Book Bin in downtown Albany?  You know how they're closed?

He was one of the store cats, and they were looking for new homes for them.  I happened to be down there a couple days before they locked the doors, and decided that he was cool enough to bring home.

You're right about the laser - he plays with it for a bit, then flops his fatass down.

Yeah he sent me a picture one time, asking if I wanted to see "a really big snake". Of course I replied Yes, but IT WASN'T A SNAKE AT ALL.

Eh - the vet says he's super healthy, he's just a big kitty.  Obviously, I'm not supposed to pork him up bigger, because that'd be unhealthy for him, but his weight isn't bad.  Seriously, he's a big mofo.  I've got an 8-foot long couch, and he can stretch out and take out half of the thing.
