Arby, if you see this before the phone show please...
1. mention you can get 100 min free long distance calls with caller id spoofing from zenofon by going to tinyurl.com/zfinvite
2. play "name of the game" by crystal method (sent it last week), has the lyric "Callin' all Phreaks!"
3. mention how much of a badass skunkworks is for running 15 miles today
4. try to make the show really cool (this one might be hard)

A new rule has been imposed on the Phone Show by Party934 - no live prank calls allowed.  We can play pre-recorded pranks, but nothing live.  I've never been a fan of doing live prank calls anyway, but it does suck to lose that option.  There would be no more live calls to 900 operators allowed.  And we can't call balloon boy's parents live tomorrow.  I've been shopping around for a new station to take our show.  An internet-only station that's not on FM so we can curse like normal people.  I've gotten a couple positive responses and one shitty one from new stations.  I'm going to take my time and make sure the new station is perfect for us before I make any moves.  If anyone has any suggestions for stations to try, post them in here.  The one station that I REALLY want to take us still hasn't responded yet.

Another option I'm considering is to just host the stream myself.  The advantage to that is that we could broadcast 24/7, just like PLA Radio used to in 2002.  But back then it was 32kbps from my home computer.  That might be cool, being able to play pranks and other PLA stuff all day, then just have the regular weekly show on top of that.  Maybe some of you could even do your own shows on it.  Or I could play podcasts I like.  Or something.  If anyone has any thoughts on any of this, post them here or PM me.

Well that sucks. What you need is some way for peole to share the upload bandwidth, sort of like the bittorrent protocol, but for streaming media, then you can have a good way to get the show out without any damn radio station.

And while your at it try not to make the show so bland, and add some freakin' phreaking content! Like why not wardial live on the show or ask some 31337 phr34kz like strom carlson or lucky225 to co-host or something?

Also, I agree with Skunkworks: You should try to get famous people on the show. Like when you called the creator of the Mikey worm (I think that's his name) that was pretty entertaining.

Nah, I don't hate Party934.  They're awesome for getting us started on the show.  I'll probably keep playing music on their station for awhile.

I did a survey of the area in New York that we broadcast in by chatting with people in random cities and I was able to find two people that were actually hearing the broadcasts.  I had them repeat what was on the air to me.  It's a very small radius, but we're definitely on the radio.

There's still absolutely no record of the station existing in the FCC database though, which seems sketchy.  Jammie, who works in radio, searched even deeper than the FCC and still found nothing.  It's as if it's a pirate station or something.  But it hits at least one large city, so it seems like someone would do something about a pirate station after it's been broadcasting for over a year.
