A million anytime minutes, T-Mobile woes.
« on: May 19, 2009, 05:55:36 AM »
I''ve use 999,300 of them apparently...

My billing cycle just started today...

Anyone else having strange issues with t-mobile? I've used them for the past 4 years without any issues, then all of a sudden i'm calling them once a week for the past month. There seems to be some kind of a serious glitch in their system.

3 weeks ago my girlfriend and i noticed our whenever minutes had run out. After having the same plan for a year without ever having a problem, we figured something was up. That plus the fact that the majority of the people we talk to are other t-mobile customers, which is supposed to be free.

So i call tmobile, and after explaining the problem several times, i finally get the rep to do the math involved in adding up our total usage, which comes out to 3xx/700 minutes. Clearly we havnt used up 700 minutes. This rep, adds 50 minutes right away to get me by for the 24hours he claims it will take to correct the problem fully.

A week goes by...

Our 50 minutes run out, and we check online to see that we are now showing 750 anytime minutes used... Well somethings not right, so i call again. This time, despite my effort to be as quick as possible in explaining my situtation, and getting things fixed, it takes me a good 30 minutes or so before i can get the rep to finally add up the usage of my 2 lines and see that it does not equal 700. Once that happens, I'm given another 300 minutes for the month (which now has about a week left)... and told everything will be taken care of..

But no!

Another few days later, we AGAIN are unable to make calls during the day. This time the error is even worse. I call customer service once more, and actually get a rep who seems to understand my issues. We discover that not only has my anytime minute usage been miscalculated, but that a majority of my calls which should be free, are being deducted as "anytime" minutes.

We also discover some very odd numbers such as a 011 (bahaumus)  number, and a handful of numbers that start out with letters and are longer then 10 digits. Its not possible for me to call out of the country on my plan (pre paid), so its VERY clear that something is wrong. This time I'm given 200 minutes again, plus another 400 for next month.

Or so i was told.

Today my bill was due, so i logged in to pay up, and noticed that i had some how been on the phone for 2 years in one day... (so i also discovered time travel). Again i called up to report this fuck up, and also that i was not given any extra minutes it seemed... i was told AGAIN that it would be looked into.

Don't use T-Mobile, it's as simple as that.  ;D

And don't pay anything for that screw up.
