I live in a suburb of philly that has a tram and this is the biggest stop in town. Usually at least 10 people standing right next to this phone. Should get some interesting characters knowing my area

all i know is that when i tested it after obtaining the number it rang once, i picked up the payphone and it connected.

Actually bridgehost and i were both right. I tried it and stayed on the line and i too got modem noise. It DOES physically ring once, after that then you get modem noise. I guess in order to get a person to pick up you have to be extremely lucky. I was going to post other ones too but i figured out that its the phone company in our area. All the payphones do this.
