Need Help Finding Some Parts :\
« on: July 30, 2009, 12:24:56 AM »
After purchasing Both a CB Radio and a $20 Toaster tonight I was disappointed to find that neither of them had similar parts to the ones shown in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cyLrus1yKvI.

Firstly The Toaster didn't even have a Crystal.

The CB Radio Had a very very Tiny Crystal ( At least we think it's one ) however it was so tiny and different to the one shown in the video I was afraid to touch it.

Can someone point me in the right direction for where I can get the necessary components here in Australia to build myself a CB Radio that can have some fun with Drive Thru's?

Other wise Is someone in the US/Canada willing to pick up and sell me a TRC-207 as we dont have Radio Shack in Australia, or anything like it, No stores sell the realistic brand either unfortunately.

Sigh Nvm Just found it was a prank.

How exactly can I make a Radio that will interfere with Drive Thru's, No more fake Crystal Toaster runs please..  ::) The CB Radio cost me nearly $150... Now I'm stuck with it.

Spend another $300 on a ham radio, then learn how to modify it.

A few brands of toasters don't have the right crystals. What was the brand of the one you took apart?

It actually wasn't a prank. RBCP said that so too many people wouldn't do it. If everyone did it, then it would be cracked down on.
Atonal apples.

You could stand behind the Taco Bell speaker sign with a bullhorn, camouflaged as a bush.

Jumping Taco Bell employees tends to work also.
Just make sure you're wearing your invisibility cloak and rubbed bananas on your head so that you absorb the explosive raw potassium via brain waves incase they capture you and try to question you and use your Sock 'em Bopper to make the kill as swift as possible.
I'm not declaring that this doesn't work, it's just that you guys weren't very specific about what kind of toaster other than the date but by that time, ALL KINDS OF TOASTERS WERE ALL OVER THE GLOBE.

Harvesting Taco Bell employees with Sock'em Boppers is now a felony in most states, so be careful.
