You might notice on just about every episode of PLA Radio, the voicemails sound like garbage. There's an annoying hissing sound on them all and the overall voice quality is just horrible. It's because I use a crappy free service called
k7.net. They have no option to upgrade the sound quality. There's only a switch between low quality and high quality. And my horrible sounding PLA Radio voicemails are the result of high quality with K7. I do my best to eliminate the noise but there's only so much I can do.
Does anyone know of a good net-based voicemail provider that I could use? Free would be nice but I might be willing to drop a few bucks on it. Definitely no more than $5.00 per month. And I doubt I even want to spend that much.
I'm going to set up
mychingo.com on the site which will at least give some people the option of leaving messages with their PC microphones. Maybe I'll get a Skype-in number and see how that sounds. I bet those aren't too expensive.
