But why would he take checks under Alex?  You think it would be Brad.  Plus in some of his calls (with people he knows) they called him Alex.

Born Brad(ley) Alex(ander) Carter, legally went by Alex Carter, then half wittedly changed it back later on ???

I think at the time I wrote that, my checks showed my name as B. Alex Carter.  I was Alex from 93 to 97.  I kept the name as Alex in the PLA Store just to throw off anyone trying to pull my docs.
