Is *57 the only option to trace a call?
« on: July 05, 2010, 05:58:47 PM »
Someone called me with a restricted number so I'm trying to figure it out. I tried *57 but Verizon (my provider) tells me this call cannot be completed. Maybe because I'm on a mobile phone and not a landline. I don't really want to call the police or get them involved because...well, as a last resort I will. Is there anything I can try to social out to get this restricted number? I don't know which service they are using to call from.

yeah, but some people have tracebusters on the line.  Then there are such things as tracebuster-buster's and what you REALLY need to wstch out for are the japanese, who have tracebuster-buster-busters!  They were actually featured in the film "Bit Hit" with Mark Walberg and are the reason I do not prank call anymore.  If you do, ... ,Lou diamond philips shows up and bats the shit out of you.
