Pictures taken with cell phones have GPS coordinated embedded in them.

This is ancient news, and it's simple to block (turn off Location Services, or go through eighty menus on a Nokia or whatever) and erase, but people think this is 31337 h4x0r1n9.

With the exception of Facebook, it's possible that somebody's photo contains the GPS coordinated embedded in them if they post a picture of themselves to a profile.
