Random question: Why is some dude bringing his very autistic child and semi-autistic wife to a place with drugs, pranks, hacking, illegal activity, etc? I loved my Defcon experience but I definitely don't think it's a place for a kid like that.

I wish the Rio could have traced the call back to the room it originated from.  That would have caused even more confusion for everyone and hilarity for us.

Hi, I'm a parent and I was involved in the very end of this prank call to your room. It was funny, though I can understand how you wouldn't think so since you were on the receiving end of it. This is not a call you should have believed for a second, since the various front desk people were cursing, being rude, giggling, and making ridiculous claims like, "We're charging you $7/minute for this phone call." Front desk employees do not typically behave this way. I can't believe you even had to call the front desk afterwards to confirm that it was a prank, considering we ended the call with, "We're not really with the front desk. This is just a prank call."

CPS was never mentioned in the prank, not even once. Not even by you. The three people you talked to simply insisted that you shut your kid up because it was bringing down everyone's high. I'm not trying to claim that we're nice people, but this thread makes it sound like we're all ruthless homewreckers, hellbent on getting your children taken away from you. It was just a drunken prank call that you're taking a bit too seriously, especially when you're filling this thread with lies and exaggerations to make yourself seem like the victim of a huge conspiracy.

Micros said yesterday, "If you would like to provide the tape of the call that I am sure you have to the Rio Security and Priest, I am sure they can make their own determination as to the nature of the call, and what should be done with the group that made it."

I'm not sure what he thinks security can do after 2 weeks, but I just wrote an email to the Rio and asked them for security's email.  We'll get to the bottom of this!

Could you provide me with an email address for hotel security?  I need to send them a copy of a prank call so that they can make their own determination as to the nature of the call, and what should be done with the group that made it.
