Wasn't sure if you guys have seen this one yet, I thought it was pretty cool.... You can schedule a call with a text2voice message and leave any call back number and caller ID string.

http://www.callthefuture.org/

Notes:
Phone Number To Dial and Caller ID cannot be the same number
Phone Number To Dial and Caller ID cannot start with 1, 800, or 555
Max number of calls in any 24-hour period is 3. (Damn  :'()
I think the mistake a lot of us make is thinking the state-appointed shrink is our friend.

If only there was one that could call the past. Then I would be impressed.

Does anyone know how it logs calls made to uphold the 3 in 24-hours thing? Can you just re-set your router to get new IPs, or even proxify?

I tried a proxy... Not yeilding great results. Can you say "Phone Mob?" We should set up a number, and a date a couple weeks in advance, and post a message 3 times a day. after a couple days and few people doing it, you could have them call up 100's of times in a day!   BTW, I tried using it, and So far the phone isn't ringing.  :(

Busy servers I can only immagine.

Yeah, I've tried 2 calls from 2 different network spots now, and neither one of them have gone through. I wonder if the service was already over-abused.

Has anyone gotten this to work?
