Tell us who you are, where you're from, how you found the H/P community, how you found PLA, your accomplishments, your goals and anything else you feel like sharing.

Well, gee, if you're asking...

Who am I?  I'm late to this scene, but I've admired all attempts to beat the system, even though I am pretty much a cog in the system.  I'm about RBCP's age.  I grew up in a pay-phone era.  I discovered that you could ask the AT&T operator to connect you with the overseas operator.  You could ask that operator to connect you with an operator in almost any country.  I'd do that during lunch at  high school when I was a freshman.  Then, some big dudes physically decided to monopolize the phones and shoved me around.  I figured out that these older payphones had loose mouthpieces.  I unscrewed the external mouthpieces on the phones and removed the receiver piece and replaced the external mouthpieces back on one morning.  The idiots couldn't understand why nobody could hear them.  That's where I realized you could do great things with phones.  Maybe RBCP could tell me if they worked that bug out of those phones- because you could pretty much wreck a phone that way.

I interned at a radio station in high school and one of the degenerates there really knew phones and the early BBS stuff.  I would constantly pester this crusty old radio host there and get through the screener by using a woman's voice.  Sometimes I'd call from inside the station and I'd hear the host yell "Don't ever that fucking guy on the air any more."

I posted this elsewhere- I still have a tape of this- a couple of pals of mine and I pestered Larry King's old late night radio show in the early 90s.  I think he had no listeners and because he had no screeners or caller ID, you could get right on the air.  I'd love to clean up the tape and turn it into an MP3.  I'd pay for the service if I wasn't so lazy.

That's a sample of things I've done.  I've never made a concerted effort, but it's never too late.

My goal?  I'd like to buy RBCP a cactus farm so that he can use it as a tax shelter.

Could someone hurry up and be in awe of him so he'll shut up about it?

Hello everyone, my name is Matthew but you can call me Drii.  I first heard about the PLA last summer while browsing another forum.  As soon as I read that McDonalds Sign Prank I was hooked.  Since that fabulous day in July, I have read and listened to a lot of the PLA material.  I also <3 ThePhoneShow.
Just yesterday I bought the e-book and I am currently waiting for the download/email.  I can't wait until I read the book.  :nonsense:

Hello all. I'm CK or CountyKid to some of you. I'll be around from time to time.
But do you have ample parking? That is the question.
