This site is either dying or dead, and no one seems to be regularly contributing. Every once in a while, someone comes by and makes a post, but its nothing compared to the activity that was listed on here last year or even a few years ago..

So WTF guys? Is this forum just going to go in the shitter, or are we gonna pick up the pace? I even suggested a phone mob but no one replied....Either that means its dead here or yall just indifferent.

My goatee is getting sort of long. Some times it wavers out in front of my monitor and blocks my view of any new posts. It's freaky and cool at the same time. Sure it's sentient facial hair and looks at hairy lady porn, but it does offer me other worldly protection and operates like a buttset.

You should install Vanilla forums instead.. I've just started using another forum which uses Vanilla and it really helps a lot with bypasses the aging, outdated forum problem

It updates the forum format to a 2.0 style

At the very least of factors, its a lot nicer to look at and work with than this stone-aged SMF/PHPBB/ETC format

Updating things leads to more member attraction and activity..

Ah, I see.  Somehow I ended up on the other Vanilla site.

I am tempted to change software, only because we've been using SMF forever now and could use a change.  Only if it lets me migrate everything, though.

I know it sucks thinking about scrapping all the old posts and everything.. but it gets to point where its like is all that old stuff even worth keeping- who's ever going to look through those 1000s of posts..

And there are some transitional options but I dont know anything about them..

Just thought I'd share since it makes it more like a web2.0 forum

Maybe a way to archive the old posts while highlighting the new ones? The bold grey coloring indicating posts from today just doesn't cut it...but thats my 2 cents..

those bell colors dont mean anything. If there is a new post, Ive seen it green/yellow, stone grey, or the color of the logo. Its just not effective.
